This website belongs to J.P. Belback, a sole proprietorship installing windows, doors and siding in Temiskaming Shores and the surrounding area. Using the site means accepting the terms below. They are short on purpose.
What this site is for
The site describes the work J.P. Belback does and gives you a way to get in touch. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a fixed price, or a promise that any particular job can be taken on. Availability, materials and prices change, and every property is different.
Estimates and agreements
Estimates are free, and an estimate is not a contract. Work is priced after Paul has seen the property and measured it. The terms that actually govern your job — the scope, the price, the materials, the schedule and the warranty — are the ones in the written estimate or agreement for that job. Where anything on this website differs from that document, the document governs.
The workmanship warranty
Installation work carries a five-year workmanship warranty. That warranty is real and nothing on this page limits it. It covers the installation itself, and it is set out in the paperwork for your job.
Products are a separate matter. Windows and doors from Stage Windows and Doors, and siding from Gentek, carry their own manufacturers' warranties, which those manufacturers set and honour on their own terms and for whatever period they specify. J.P. Belback will help you make a manufacturer claim but does not extend, replace or guarantee a manufacturer's warranty.
Photographs on this site
There are two kinds of image here, and the difference is deliberate.
Past work. Every photograph in the Past work gallery, in the About section and at the top of the home page is a J.P. Belback job, photographed on site. None of it is stock photography. Photographs are cropped to show the installation clearly, but nothing in them is staged, composited, or borrowed from somewhere else.
Product images. The images in the Windows, Doors and Siding sections are manufacturer product images, supplied by Stage Windows & Doors and Gentek and credited to them on the page. They show products Paul supplies and installs. They are not photographs of work completed by J.P. Belback, and they are not offered as examples of any particular past job.
Either way, images are examples rather than a specification. Colours vary between screens, product lines change, and what suits one building may not suit yours. Choose materials and finishes from current manufacturer samples and from what is written into your own estimate, not from a photograph on a website.
Content and trademarks
The text, project photographs, logo and design of this site belong to J.P. Belback and may not be copied or reused for other purposes without permission. Manufacturer product images remain the property of Stage Windows & Doors and Gentek and are used with permission. Those companies are named here to identify the products installed; their names and marks remain theirs, and naming them does not imply that they endorse or sponsor this business.
Accuracy
The information here is kept accurate and current as far as is reasonably possible, but it is provided as general information without warranty of any kind. If something on the site is out of date or unclear, call and ask — that is faster and more reliable than guessing from a web page.
Liability for use of this site
To the extent the law allows, J.P. Belback is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information published on this website, or from the site being temporarily unavailable. Where the site links to another organisation, such as a manufacturer, that site is outside J.P. Belback's control and its content is its own responsibility.
